I have a question, So is it Evergreen pieces? Or is Fashion Fad for you? I suggest you must have both 🙂 This post explores the best of both worlds, I will delve into the advantages of both Classic wear v/s Trendy wear. Before we move forward, we must understand the correct definition of Classic wear and Trendy Wear.

Classic Fashion is a style that lasts for several seasons, sometimes even years and is accepted by many people. For these time-honoured styles, you don’t have to think twice before wearing them. Ask yourself if you are going to wear it after five years? If the answer is Yes you know you have a simple piece in your wardrobe! White shirts and t-shirts combined with basic denim jeans are the best examples of Classic style. On the other hand, Trendy wear is something extremely fashionable and influenced by the most recent or inspired fashion ideas.

A simple black dress, a worsted wool suit, a leather bomber jacket, basic denim with white shirts- these are all simple fashions that repeat themselves year after year. On the other hand, vogue design lasts only for a season, sometimes even less than a season. Fancy Fashion tends to be at the extreme end of a design with a kind of vibe to it, which can be retro or luxe or any other but not at all prototypal. Also, they don’t always go with all kinds of accessories only but unique ones.

Hey ya! Spring is almost here! and so are bright and bloomy and gloomy days are back! After such a brutal winter of -35 below herein, Canada the season almost arrived and I waited to go out and enjoy the sunshine. Not the real blooms but I do have a post for you guys to consider flowery hair accessories this summer, which are not only cute but give a feel that you are almost wearing flowers in your hair!!

I love accessories of all kinds, apart from that they are the most integral part of fashion and style. A piece of accessories can take your whole look to the next level with a statement. One correct adornment can save you from ruining the whole look that’s what I feel about accessories. I do believe that these beautiful pieces play a vital role in your overall appearance actually, they play an equally visible role when it comes to enhancing your fashion game. If you find yourself on the style sidelines thinking, “I could never pull that off,” then it’s time to get a new fashion mantra. I’ve rounded up sage words of wisdom that every fashion wallflower needs. This time again I am going to bust a few of your fashion fears. Knowingly that all my beautiful squad is full of confidence, brave to experiment but there are certain moments, where you are unsure about particular fashion piece. You won’t wear trousers cause you inherited your mother’s hips, you can’t wear boots,, you are too short, can’t put Hat as you think it’s plain silly. Am I looking good with this or it’s a total disaster? Such constant overthinking kills all the fun!!

Another part of FFB is here. So like the previous one, I am going to include three more fashion fears that need to be busted as soon as they can.

In this part, my discussion point will be :

  1. Hats look Silly On Me. it’s not for everyone
  2. High waist trouser add to my hips
  3. Sheer tops look tacky

HATS LOOK SILLY ON ME, ITS NOT FOR EVERYONE

So if you are thinking of wearing hats, this crosses your mind most definitely, how effortlessly celebs pull off Sicilian Mafioso style hats on a red carpet. How amazingly Victoria Beckham managed to redefine contemporary British Chic look with her hat at royal events. You are not a singer or any WAG designer on the red carpet to pull the look and moreover, you think hats belong to such people. You might fear you look ridiculous striding into a cafe wearing a fedora. Noooo you will not! You can nail the hat look by finding the correct frame for your hat. No matter what is the shape of your face whether it’s Square, Long/Oval, Heart-shaped, or round.

YOU CAN DO IT AND HOW?

Keep your look casual. Pick a hat that suits your face type and wear it with a t-shirt. jeans or casual jacket, as I combined it with beige cami layered it with a denim shirt and dyed jeans. Try to keep this look absolutely casual to really sport that hat.

HIGH WAIST TROUSERS ADD TO MY HIPS

Those slinky Palazzo pants look irresistible swishing around celeb’s gorgeous gams, but your high-waisted pants highlight three curves where there ought to be just one. You think high-waisted pants are no friend to those with muffin tops and thunder thighs, but pick the right fabric and silhouette, and you could give any celeb a run for her money lol! while opting for high waist trousers fabric plays a really important role.

YOU CAN DO IT AND HOW?

Choose a flared cut, preferably with detail on the cuffs. Structured fabrics are better than clingy ones. Clingy and loose fabrics never create that silhouette for high waist trousers or pants. If the fabric chosen is not structured then it may spoil the whole look and you will end up looking improper and that will spoil all the fun of wearing such an amazing piece of cloth which we should try with different kinds of tops.

SHEER TOP LOOKS TACKY ON ME

You can’t resist the old-world glamour of pearl-coloured shirts and tops with a shell-like moonshine shimmer, but what on earth are you going to wear under them that won’t give you a tacky look or you feel it’s not going as per your personality and fashion style. Sometimes it’s experimented with a skin-coloured bra or lacy brightly coloured bra, but is that the right thing I am wearing? I hope I am not looking too loud! These kinds of questions usually pop while wearing such an audacious piece of garment.

YOU CAN DO IT AND HOW?

So you can nail it by adding more layers and wearing a fitted pretty corset under a loose sheer top. Or you can opt for a nice slip or camisole to wear inside your sheer top which just amalgamated into it but in a more understatedly sexy way. You can easily opt for different colour cami and slips but make sure they are very well fitted to keep the lookup in place.

So my folks by keeping these few simple tricks in mind you can expedite any garment piece or accessory you wish for, that too ending up like a diva. Do try these Fashion Faux Pas and come out shining like a pearl upon the ocean.
