Here we go:

  • Use face oil, to prep for the skin. I used Neutrogena retinol oil (https:///2b5z4eww)
  • Blend any hyaluronic-induced foundation on moisturized skin.
  • Contour the jawline, hairline and cheekbones with a bronzer for definition.
  • Using a purple eye pencil, outline the desired shape. In this case, start from the inner corners of the eyes, go along the socket and extend outwards till it reaches just below the point where the eyebrows end.
  • Use a bright purple eyeshadow and fill in the area within the liner outline.
  • Dab the ends with your fingers because the edges need to be smoky, not defined.
  • Apply a thick line of kohl along the lower lash line.
  • Swipe mascara ( https://4aa5ytwr) on the upper and lower eyelashes. Trust me this mascara is superb!
  • Skip the lip colour and stick to an excellent hydrating balm. What’s better than Burt’s Bees lip balm?

Hey ya! Spring is almost here! and so are bright and bloomy and gloomy days are back! After such a brutal winter of -35 below herein, Canada the season almost arrived and I waited to go out and enjoy the sunshine. Not the real blooms but I do have a post for you guys to consider flowery hair accessories this summer, which are not only cute but give a feel that you are almost wearing flowers in your hair!!

I love accessories of all kinds, apart from that they are the most integral part of fashion and style. A piece of accessories can take your whole look to the next level with a statement. One correct adornment can save you from ruining the whole look that’s what I feel about accessories. I do believe that these beautiful pieces play a vital role in your overall appearance actually, they play an equally visible role when it comes to enhancing your fashion game. Trust me these cute little things are so very important!

In this post, I am going to mention one such ornament which enhances the look of the crown of our whole personality. Yes, you are thinking absolutely right! Although there are many of them, I am going to talk about floral hairpieces which are as fresh as spring air and look so beautiful when you wear them.

Whenever you dream of garden parties and sundowners, tea parties or any blossomy theme party these beautiful flowery tiaras, bejewelled hair bits and kitschy bandanas will definitely get you there. Glittery eye accents and warm highlights are definite standouts for any season, especially when we are transforming from one season to another. And taking this to newer heights by trying on earthy tones is a bang-on! My love for earthy tones will never end and also it’s my mantra when I am not planning to go overboard and keep it close to simple. Earthy shades always glam up the whole look by keeping it subtle which other shades or colour palettes rarely do. You can play any which way with these earthy shades as they rarely go wrong and can be experimental any time you want.

Let me decode one such makeup look which includes all earthy shades from head to toe as you can accessorize this look with a proper hairdo and take this to next level.

Like previous tutorials again we have to focus on three major areas to nail this look!

Let me start with:

CHEEKS

  • Moisturise your skin, I used Aveeno Moisturiser the best suitable for any skin type.
  • Will use bronzer in the end, not now.

EYES

  • Choose an ordinary eyliner, I used Nyx Eyeliner make it winged liner to enhance the look.
  • Well shaped Eyebrows is a bonus feature to add with this.
  • Glam it up with gold or bronze accents.
  • This eye makeup involves a warm metallic earthy shade for an eyeshadow as per your skin tone, I used L’oreal Infalliable Eyeshadow.
  • Swipe up the mascara to amp up the look.
  • You can slightly play with the eyes by giving hint of metallic dab to inner and outer corners.

LIPS

  • This look demands something ingenious to go with.
  • Just a hint of nude gloss lipstick, I used L’oreal Pro Gloss lipstick.
  • Yes, you are right! not a right time to wear statement lips as we are looking for overall earthy look for a face. So nothing works best then Nudes.

Finally, give a hint of bronzer to the cheeks which belong to an earthy colour palette for finishing!

Not to mention, to augment the whole look I opted for a voluminous top knot with geometrical earrings.

Everything on the face feels so real and natural with a hint of metallic glam but still ethereal and that’s the whole beauty of this makeup do! I hope you guys like it and give it a try for your next night out with family or friends.

PAINT IT OR KEEP IT FRENCH?

In this blog post, I am taking you to the most interesting comparison or opinionated nail theory regarding your nails. A million-dollar question is whether you want to keep them painted sophisticatedly or you want to go elegant by doing a French manicure. The debate is endless and so are the discussions. But to each his own, if you ask me I totally go with the time and occasion or probably season to carry one out of the two. But here I am going to compare both of these nail trends which I was eyeing to do for so long.

The difference between the polished and scruffy is in the way you paint your nails. Do try both of these looks this summer.

But before moving so we have to keep a few things in mind :

a) Exfoliate your hands and nails before applying nail polish.

b) Remove all traces of old polish and clean dry your hands.

c) Oil in nails can deter polish from being applied evenly.

d) Using a basecoat strengthens the nail. Some products help even out any imperfections or dips in the mail.

e) Nail polish peels off faster if you don’t dry each coat completely before applying a new coat.

f) If your nails have ridges use a ridge filler.

g) Taking Vit-B supplements regularly helps strengthen nails.

Let’s start with :

PAINTED SOPHISTICATION

  1. Apply a base coat to your nails. let it dry completely.
  2. Dip the brush in the nail polish coat it completely, then wipe the brush on the inside edge of the bottle to remove any excess paint.
  3. Apply with the brush starting from the cuticle edge to the tip in a single sweep, positioning the brush to the center of the nail.
  4. Now apply the next stroke in a similar way to the left of the earlier stroke and then similarly on the right, doing this till you paint the entire nail. Then apply second coat.
  5. Finish it off with clear polish and let it dry completely.

PS: Move the bottle gently in between your palms instead of shaking it vigorously before applying, as it may cause air bubbles.

FRENCH ELEGANCE

  1. Apply a base coat to your nail. Let it dry completely.
  2. Now place a tip guide on your nail that covers the bottom part of your nail and help you get a clear white tip.
  3. Use white polish to paint the tips of your nail in a clean motion, following the curve of your nail or painting straight if you want a sqaure tip. Let it dry.
  4. Now use a sheer or clear pink nail paint and paint over the whole nail from cuticle to to tip, following the instructions as mentioned in the single colour, let it dry and apply a second coat.
  5. Finish off with a coat of clear polish over the entire nail and let it dry completely.

PS: A clear polish gives your nails a proper finish. Applying a clear polish every couple of days will also make your french manicure last longer.

So above are a few steps to do the nail of your own like and kind. If you personally ask me I will definitely keep occasion or season in mind to actually nail this nail look. Hope you guys can try these simple steps to see how your nails come out to be. For painted nails, you can opt for any colour of your choice and for French Manicured nails at home you can buy a kit with everything inside it all you have to do is just follow the instructions.

Whoever thought? Getting up with bed hair will also be counted as one of the hairdo trends one day. It sounds crazy, what’s with the tend? But, yes this is also a hairdo style. It may sound super easy, it is easy too but to get perfect bed hair is quite a task. I tried to achieve it but was not very happy with the results. Let you guys decide that!, but definitely, I love to share this wonderful tutorial for the BED HAIR trend which is awesome. Bed Hair trend is very popular among beauty and hair communities, which clearly depicts the nonchalant hairstyling yet with all the efforts put in like any other hairdo.

Famous among various celebrities who are known for trying various styles and trends, this looks almost looks like you come out of your bed and yet look so trendy and chic.

Wanted to try this look for so long. In the Pandemic, we stayed and home and mostly WFH which made this look legit and workable. You are at home right? You can have Bed Hair!

WHAT DO WE NEED

  • HAIR SPRAY
  • HAIRDRYER
  • HAIRSHINE SPARY OR SERUM
  • SCRUNCHIE TO HOLD A BUN

HOW DO WE DO IT

  • While your hair still damp load it up with hair spray
HAIR SPRAY
  • Tie your hair into a high messy bun, leaving a few strands hanging loose.
TIE IN BUN
  • Dry your hair using the diffuser attachment on your hairdryer, this will add volume.
  • Once dry, open up the bun and run your fingers through your hair for a perfectly tousled look.
  • Finish with a spritz of shine spray/serum to complete the look.
BED HAIR, BEST HAIR
HAIR SHINE SPRAY
  • If you feel your hair flattening at any point, just tie it into a messy bun for five minutes and reopen.
