Hey beautiful people, if you ask me what I think of this universe; to me every single entity even the tiniest one made by the almighty is a treasure. Everyone is there own kind of beautiful and for me, internal beauty always wins over external beauty. When God gave you this beautiful life, an opportunity to live as a human we should take care of ourselves in all possible ways whether it’s your body, mind, or soul. My true instinct has this belief that if you are at peace with your heart and happy inside then no one can beat that glow of yours at any cost. But our lifestyle disorders, stress, busy lifestyle, or aging often takes away that glimmer and charm which we try to fix by using exorbitant cosmetic creams.

So without wasting much time I am going to tell you the top 5 foods which straightaway helps you keep your skin glow and radiant.

“Go from casual to dressy in no time”

So every now and then I want to elevate my style game and for that, I keep on experimenting with contrasting trends and looks, so this time I am getting rid of my regular jeans or leggings and pick something which I rarely tried. To do something peculiar and playful, I am going to do printed trousers this time. And I choose floral ones.

I picked printed trouser many times while shopping but drop them at the last moment wondering how they look on me? I am not at all tall and petite in size so my biggest concern was whether I can justify the prints in bottoms or not?

So I decided to let’s try it! and for that, I ditched my regular jeans or denim and go with my colorful floral trousers, this is what fashion is all about right? To keep on assaying and becoming more innovative and creative. To upgrade your style quotient all you need to try new and different things and that’s it.

My trouser is colorful and medium floral so if you are choosing such kind of print which speaks for itself then do not go overboard with your top. Avoid intricate prints and patterns. Keep upper plain or you can simply choose white top or tees depending upon how you want to conduct the look formal or casual? I choose casual and with that, I combined plane yellow-colored crop top which enhances the silhouette of my floral printed trouser.

Just keep in mind you can elegantly combine your floral trousers with white or pearly tees, tanks or tops or any plain colored top as I combined with yellow and try to make it chic. Avoid making look too busy. Add shimmery accessories to make it more catchy.

A simple necklace, modish earrings, a trendy bag, or swanky looking sunnies will take the entire look to another level. I opted for yellow sunnies and boho earrings. What you say? Adding those additional braids which look like my own kind of deadlocks give the look a whole new chic vibe.

Whenever it comes to styling my hair ponytails are always on top of my list. Because with them I can experiment endlessly and that too without going any wrong. This one hairdo related to ponytails. The style I am going to try is one of my favorite and goes with all my plans, whether I am going for any corporate event, a date night, or to a night out with my friends, this one hairdo always rocks!! But here is a twist which I am going to add by adding soft waves to it.

I am going to wear my ponytail with middle parting and lot of soft waves.

So without wasting any more ,lines and time let’s get started:

WHAT DO WE NEED

Volumizing shampoo and Conditioner, texturizing spray, curling iron, hair fixing spray, rubber band(elastic), hold, and shine spray

HOW DO WE DO IT

  1. Start by washing your hair with a volumizing shampoo and conditioner
  2. Apply texturizing spray to towel-dried hair, scrunch and let it dry
  3. Apply Argan oil or some heat protecting spray,( I used Argan oil as it is safe and more natural)
  4. Divide your hair into two sections
  5. Wrap each section of hair around the barrel, leave few. inches at the end
  6. Lightly tease your hair out once you’re done
  7. Part your hair from the middle and secure each side with a rubber band
  8. Take a thin section of hair from the base of your ponytail and wrap it around the band
  9. Finish with strong hold and shine spray

PS: For overnight waves , just divide your hair into sections and set them in braids

I always prefer my blogs to be short precise and to the point , because when I read any random blog or any piece of information I want it quick and short so that I get the idea behind the post and its purpose

So my goal is to provide much information in less words. Keeping that in mind I am trying to post a beauty regime that you are going to love

The world is full of cosmetics and various corrective products for skin as well as hair, its all billion dollar industry , where one can get whatever they aspire for. So in the world full of beauty products for hair and skin I swear by totally natural ingredients which are readily available in your kitchen shelves. These accessible home stock are always on my top list to cure all your skin and hair related issues

These little kitchen secrets are there to cure your biggest hair and skin concerns. So let’s take a look at them one by one

So the most common problem we usually face is dry skin especially when the weather is cold, but it’s so common that doesn’t matter what weather is it

HOW TO BRIGHTEN DULL SKIN

What we Need

Gram flour (or rose petal powder), Honey, Curd, Turmeric , Almond oil

  1. Take a gram flour around 1 tbsp, I am using gram flour here. You can use rose petal powder if you want. You can order it online or try making it at home to keep it as natural as you can
  2. Mix 1tsp honey
  3. Add a pinch of turmeric
  4. Add 1tsp curd and few drops of almond oil
  5. Mix all the ingredients very well
  6. Apply it on your face and keep it for 15-20 mins

This brings an instant glow and moisture to the skin, try it folks!

Another problem which is very common is frizzy hair and flyways , which literally kill all the fun of trying any new hairdo , especially braids with partition

HOW TO TAME DRY AND FRIZZY HAIR

What we need

Banana, Honey and Coconut Oil

  1. As all the ingredients are natural so we can see that Banana contains Potassium as well as Vit C and B6, that help add shine and repair damage. One banana is sufficient
  2. Add 1 tsp Honey as it is humectant and moisturises hair by adding shine to it
  3. Add 1 tbsp Coconut oil as it is great for hair because of its linear chain molecular structure that helps in penetrating deep into shaft and deliver essential nourishment and repair damage
  4. Blend all the ingredients in a food processor
  5. Apply paste on your hair and keep it for 30 min
  6. Wash it off with mild shampoo

Voila! brace yourself for silky smooth hair within few minutes

Problem of dark spots is not new to us at all and we have already watched tons of tutorials and tips of how to get rid of them, blame it to your lifestyle routine the biggest reason for your dark spots is lack of sleep which leads to many other problems. So lets see how to get rid of them nice and easy

HOW TO LIGHTEN DARK SPOTS

What we need

Lemon and Curd

  1. Take lemons as they are powerful source of citric acid which is best known ingredients for brightening skin and removing dark spots
  2. Add curd (can also use buttermilk ) as it contains lactic acid, which is alpha hydroxy acid and aids exfoliation. The combination of potent brightening agent with a natural exfoliator helps in lightening sun-induced spots with regular base

Trust me you can see visible results within a week !

HOW TO SOFTEN FLAKY SKIN

Sometimes you can not predict your skin, its hard to understand what’s going on inside our bodies which have numerous effect on our skin tone and texture, one such is flaky skin, I usually face this problem during my makeup. Although I already applied enough moisturiser and primer then too it seems flaky and spoils all the fun

But by using few ingredients I can make an scrub mask to combat this problem

What we Need

Almonds, Honey and Argan oil

  1. Take an almond which contains saturated fats, Vit- E, Manganese, Magnesium, Copper and Vit-B2. Powdered it. Granular base helps in exfoliation and remove dead skin cells
  2. Add honey, with its moisturising properties its easy to make a paste
  3. Add Argan oil that contains 80% saturated fats which makes it excellent for dry skin. It also contains Vit-E, phenols and Squalene which have anti agin and anti oxidant benefits
  4. Now apply this scrub gently in upward motion on your face for 5mins
  5. Wash it off with lukewarm water

There you go , with soft and supple skin which feels so good!

PS: If you can’t find Argan oil easily you can replace it by olive oil or sweet almond oil

I never knew that these handy kitchen ingredients are this beneficial

Crazy Times are going on. As we are leading quarantine lives in our safe homes we are experimenting new ideas and make this time as useful as we can, because all we need to do is to pass this time smoothly and safely. Social media is always enraged with beauty and fashion DIY’s tutorials whether it’s quarantine or not

I am not at all professional in making these tutorials for fashion and beauty but as I said earlier we need to keep us busy during this hard time, so what we can do better than keeping ourselves busy doing creative stuff and of course something which is not only creative but easy to execute as well as look fabulous too. One such beauty tutorial which I like to try today is all about boosting your glamour quotient

Marsala, is one such colour which says it all, this red brownish tone is all time rage and little of it can give an instant magnetism which reflects in the whole look

Let’s go!!!!

GET THE LOOK

FACE

  1. Begin with cleansing , toning and moisturising your face
  2. You can apply a good primer to conceal scars and blemishes
  3. Apply BB cream to keep the makeup light( I usually prefer BB cream over foundation)
  4. Let it sit for a minute before you set your base with a compact powder

CHEEKS

  1. Since the focus is on the lips, keep those cheeks subtle
  2. Apply an apricot blush on the apple of your cheeks and blend it with golden highlighter

EYES

  1. Choose a shimmery light golden eye shadow and swipe on the lids
  2. Rim the waterline with a bronze eye pencil
  3. Add a glitter highlighter in the inner corner of your eyes
  4. Blush out the lashes with volumising mascara

LIPS

Especially for the looks like these we focus more on lips

  1. Prepare by moisturising with a good lip balm
  2. Once the lips feel soft and smooth apply a matte marsala shade lip
  3. colour/crayon

Anddd…. you are done!!

Feel that boldness in your look and rock it!

PS: Don’t forget to scrub your lips before starting your makeup. If you don’t have marsala shade lip colour you can blend your red lipstick with brown one to achieve an earthy marsala hue
