However, with a few simple tweaks and smart choices, you can effortlessly transform your daytime office look into a stunning party ensemble. In this blog post, I’ll guide you through the art of transitioning your outfit from chic and professional to glamorous and party-ready, ensuring you’ll turn heads at any after-hours event.

LOOK 1: Day look

Keep your look minimal in the office and neutral lips should do the trick.

  • Even out your skin with foundation. This is a must, especially if you are just touching up your face later.
  • Shade a soft, neutral colour blush into your cheeks.
  • Keep your lips natural with a beige shade or one that matches your lip colour.
  • Use a concealer to eliminate dark circles and shade a neutral colour into your eye socket.
  • Using a liquid eyeliner, draw a line on your upper eyelid from the inner corner to the outer corner.
  • Pull your hair into a low chignon and secure it firmly. If you have bangs, let them fall neatly on your forehead.
  • During the day, keep your hair polished and professional with a sleek updo, a sophisticated bun, or a classic blowout.

LOOK 2: Night look

Glam up your look with silver-hued eyes and a close-to-messy chignon

  • Deepen your cheeks with the same shade adding a hint of colour.
  • Evenly shade a silver-grey eye colour all over your upper eyelid, from your lash line to your brow bone.
  • Add black lash-lengthening mascara or false eyelashes, if you can manage them.
  • Rework your lips in an ice-pink shade of lip colour.
  • Open out your hair, spray with texturing spray and gather into a chignon. You can also pull out strands and weave them back in with U-pins. Use a little texturizing serum to add volume to your fringes. If you have any?
  • Add a pair of statement earrings ( not so heavy ones) to inject instant glamour.

Fashion is like eating, you shouldn’t stick to the same menu

The war between monochrome v/s colour will keep on dominating fashion industry.

Latest trends, fashion forecast , runways or any casual dressing one thing is sure ..our mind always juggle between monochromatic and radiant clothing.

The fact is we need both, and both of the colour palettes have their own uniqueness. Even if I go by my mood I have some days which are grayscale while some are vivid. Your mood and vibes play a significant role to choose which coloration you want to go with because both of them plays consequential role in our closet.

Let see how colour arrangement for monochrome works?

What exactly Monochrome is?

The term monochrome is usually taken to mean the same as black and white or, more likely, grayscale, but also can be use for different shades of same colour and needs no introduction.

Black and white combination is classic, elegant and very sophisticated. So very first thing to keep in mind while opting for onyx clothing is to sustain them simple and precise because both the shades are pretty strong in themselves and needs no introduction.

Team it as solid or separates or have both salt and pepper in one piece. Not to repeat that monochrome has its own unique stature in the field of fashion.

So for this blog post , I opted for a prince collared pure white shirt and black polka dot dress to complete the vibe. I used both black and white separates because that worked best for me.

Keep accessories as simple as you can or go for oxidised silver jewellery , don’t go overboard with the accessories, let the zebra speaks for itself.

How about Technicolour?

Who don’t like colours. I like them a lot, I almost have all the colours in my wardrobe… do I ? I guess barring couple of shades I have extremely dramatic wardrobe and I love vibrant accessories and nailpaints too, I have it all, because what is life without colours? Agree?

But as we are discussing here monochrome v/s colours we can’t ignore the power of black and white over coloured clothing. Bright -coloured clothing brings in happiness, brightness and positive vibes to your mood and that reflects on your day to day routine. People do dress up and pick colours according to their mood or some time out of curiosity to try different new colours or how they look on them!

You can easily mix/match colours and in vogue it’s most commonly known as colour blocking. This is something audacious to do, not everyone look good in colour blocking outfits becauseit is really experimental. One should try it. You know what they say ” If nothing happens , experience will”.

Avoid going for coloured printed outfits, because prints are sometimes confusing . If you are opting for colourful attire better go for solid colours. Don’t forget to opt for primary colours as they are always remarkable. Try to combine colourful outfits in contrast for that fabulous look.

I opted for mustard colour paperbag waist skirt and blood red embellished collared top, I found it a great contrast and it worked for me. Keeping my make up subtle and minimalistic accessories enhanced the whole look.
